SKYCITY Entertainment Group is arguably the most prominent entertainment businesses currently operating throughout Australasia. Their vision is to create fun and entertainment and their goal is to be the most popular entertainment and leisure destination in every one of their location cities.
As the Internet is a hugely important part of the customer journey in planning a weekend away or an evening out, SKYCITY required a redesign of their Home Page to provide users with a highly visual landing page with simplistic navigation to distinguish between the five separate SKYCITY location websites - Auckland, Hamilton, Queenstown, Adelaide and Darwin. This was designed to guide the visitor to their city of choice. The three SKYCITY hotels, key pillars of the SKYCITY Entertainment Group portfolio were also made into homepage features to encourage users to browse further, discover more information about each hotel and to make an online booking. This homepage feature facility also enables search engine visibility for each hotel, raising profile for those looking for accommodation via the Internet.
In terms of design, the new Home Page follows the curves, colours and styles used amongst each of the individual five websites, so as a user clicks through to a destination site, the browsing experience is seamless and continuous.
